AI Advent Calendar

Get in the festive spirit with our Advent Calendar of AI tools

Every day there will be a review of a new AI tool, put together by our Business Technologists. Check back each day to discover new tools and features you may not have known before, and perhaps pick up a new staple for your digital toolbelt.

What we can do for you

Show Me: AI and ML Use Cases

You may already be using generative AI every day, or perhaps you’d like to start experimenting. Perhaps you have concerns about introducing AI/ML tools into your workflow, worried about issues like accuracy, information security, or academic integrity. We’ll be featuring effective uses of AI in a series of online resources and in-person events, so that you can be inspired to try out this new technology with confidence. Find out what generative AI tools are currently supported by the centre on our Generative AI Tools page.

If you have an existing use of AI and ML tools for teaching, research or professional services which you’d like to share with the rest of the University, please get in touch

Help Me: Support to access and use AI and ML tools

Our dedicated team of technical staff, business technologists and trainers offer free consultancy on understanding and deploying AI-powered tools. This includes providing access to commercial AI tools in a controlled and secure environment. For more information please visit our current Projects Page

Skill Me: AI Literacy Programme

We are developing a selection of resources and training for staff, to ensure that everyone can use AI/ML tools with confidence, safety and for appropriate applications.
