The Centre for Teaching and Learning supports all those who teach and support learning at Oxford and provides a hub for learning and teaching enhancement activity. Visit the Centre’s website to find out how they can support you in your new role. You can also stay informed about their activities, including their accredited teaching programmes, support for digital education, facilitated education communities and consultancy services, by subscribing to their mailing list and termly newsletter

The Researcher Hub supports all researchers on fixed-term research or teaching contracts at Oxford. Visit the Hub to find a welcome and guidance for all researchers on fixed-term research or teaching contracts, and tips for their academic line managers/PIs.

  • Termly Welcome events are run by the Researcher Hub and more information can be found on their events page Events & Committee meetings | University of Oxford 

  • The Centre for Teaching and Learning runs a self-guided Canvas course (SSO required) that explains University structures and teaching practices, provides focused guidance on tutorial teaching and research supervision, and suggests links to further resources
