We aim to build channels that build feedback and dialogue between staff members and with senior staff.  Comments and suggestions for improving staff engagement are always welcomed.

Listed below are newsletters and publications produced and circulated by University departments. To share your department’s newsletter on this page with a University-wide audience via this list, please contact the Internal Communications team in Public Affairs.

The AAD News Alert provides regular updates about academic administration and matters relating to students – from admissions to graduation. It is sent as a newsletter once every two weeks on a Monday, and includes the latest news, key events and deadlines. Anyone can sign up – whether you work in a college, a division or a department, or the UAS.

The University's Annual Review contains articles on research and developments at Oxford as well as appointments, benefactions and the year's financial statements. It is published at the start of Hilary term.

newsletter for communications staff across the University. It is used to communicate time-sensitive notices relevant to communications in the University, including strategic direction.

A daily digest of local, national and international news relating to the collegiate University. Produced by the Public Affairs Directorate, it is available on subscription by email. To subscribe, email news.office@admin.ox.ac.uk.

Distributed fortnightly during term time and less frequently during the vacations, the EDI newsletter features information, resources, case studies and events relating to equality, diversity and inclusion at the University of Oxford. Staff member and students from the University or the colleges can subscribe to the newsletter.

A termly e-bulletin aimed at heads of department, departmental administrators, facilities and building managers and others interested in the work of Estates Services.

A monthly newsletter sent to staff and students interested in news and events relating to sustainability.

A newsletter about environmental sustainability news and updates, focusing on laboratories. The newsletter is sent out once a term and once during the long summer break.

A monthly e-bulletin providing financial information for departments. It is sent to departmental administrators and finance officers.

The Financial Statements are produced annually in January. They consolidate the accounts of the University and its subsidiary companies and associated bodies.

A termly newsletter for staff working in an HR-related role at the University.

A monthly e-bulletin providing users of the University’s HR System (PeopleXD) with essential guidance and information.

A termly newsletter during 9th week to all divisional staff. The newsletter provides updates on relevant humanities matters, including key developments over the previous term and high-profile University news with relevance to the humanities audience.

News from IT Services is a termly newsletter, providing updates on major projects, service developments and forthcoming events.

MPLS publishes a newsletter each month with news from the division and information about events and opportunities of interest to members of the division's departments.

The monthly newsletter for all staff and students within the Medical Sciences Division. 

QUAD is the University's alumni magazine. It covers all aspects of life at Oxford, from research to sporting events. The print magazine appears once a year in May, while the website is updated continually.

Research Services News (RS News) is a regular news bulletin about issues and events relating to research funding and administration.

Research Accounts Bulletin is a periodic newsletter about post-award issues, such as funder news, policy and process changes.

The twice termly newsletter for staff in the Social Sciences Division.

Student News is a roundup of strategic content and significant updates relevant to all, or a large majority of, students at the University. 

The newsletter is sent to all students, broken down into two versions: the Undergraduate Student News newsletter and the Graduate Student News newsletter.

An online bulletin containing updates on timescales, activity, user testing and training related to the Student Systems Programme.

An annual compendium of information about departments, colleges, committees and University Officers. It includes lists of the recipients of honorary degrees for the past ten years, and degree results for the immediately preceding year. Published by OUP, it can be purchased from their online catalogue.
