Professional Services Staff Events

The Induction is open to anyone who is new to the central University or an academic division, department, college, or faculty. It's held termly and is an in-person only event. 

The programme aims to provide a broad introduction to the collegiate University and professional services and administration sections. It is also an opportunity for you to network with other members of staff.

The half-day event, running from 9am-1pm, comprises of:

• a talk on the history of the University
• a presentation explaining the structure of the collegiate University and providing an introduction to professional services and administration departments
• an orientation fair where you will meet representatives from professional services sections and get an overview of their work and responsibilities

Inductions 2024

The next Induction, will take place in Michaelmas term - we are yet to confirm a date. 

All new Professional Service staff will automatically receive an invitation to attend the next event via email. If you have missed an event in the past or would like to register your interest in attending this or the next event, you can do this via the button below.

The Registrar's Update is open to all colleagues in administrative and professional roles, in the central University and in academic divisions and departments.

It takes place twice a year, in Michaelmas term (at the Professional Services Staff Conference) and in Hilary term. This is a hybrid event open to both in-person and online attendees.

Hilary term Registrar's Update

The Registrar’s Update for Professional Services will take place on Wednesday 27 March 2024. The event will take place at the Examination Schools.
