The University of Oxford's small grants scheme provides funds for researchers to develop, deliver and evaluate Public Engagement with Research projects and activities.

Applications are welcome from researchers that are new to, or experienced in, Public Engagement with Research (PER).

Funds (typically £2k to £4k) can be requested to pilot a new project or enhance an existing activity.

Find out more about the scheme and how to apply on our research pages.

Read the summaries of previously funded projects (you may need to click on the three line menu [hamburger] icon on the top right-hand side of the screen to view the list).

The PER Seed Fund allows the delivery of a range of projects in different areas with the potential for significant public impact.

This project has given me a renewed excitement about my research by reminding me why I’m doing what I’m doing, and directly connecting me with the groups I’m aiming to help.
