Wellbeing resources

To mark the start of Mental Health Awareness Week, the University has overhauled its online information relating to staff wellbeing.

This change is part of the ongoing work by the Wellbeing Programme Board, which was set up in January 2021, to look at best practice in wellbeing provision - including the strengths and gaps at the University - across the divisions, GLAM, the central university and colleges.

You can find out more on the Occupational Health pages.

In the coming months, the Wellbeing Board plans to review and draw upon qualitative and quantitative data, and review good practice in other Universities and in other sectors, including our own local community and internationally, to enable us to compare the university’s own approach with best practice.

The Wellbeing Board will then develop a Wellbeing Strategy covering all staff at the University. With the aim of implementing this agreed strategy from September 2021.
