During the pandemic staff have missed out on the chance to strengthen relationships with colleagues at work-related events. Because of this, all departments can now book outdoor event space in a new marquee in the University Parks from Monday 24 May until early July. The space is being paid for by the Van Houten fund as part of the Love Oxford campaign. It is designed primarily to strengthen the student experience during Trinity term and the long vacation, with priority for events involving students, but it is also being made available for staff events.
As per government guidelines, the space is limited to a maximum of 30 people and provides an opportunity to reconnect safely outdoors regardless of the weather. Find out more about the facilities and how you can book free of charge via Estates Services.
