Join the OUP Orchestra

The OUP Orchestra is looking for players for its autumn term, which will culminate in a concert on 7 December. The programme is Granville Bantock's Pagan Symphony, Delius's Dance Rhapsody No 2 and Finzi's Clarinet Concerto.

The OUP Orchestra is a high-quality amateur orchestra mostly made up of staff of the University and OUP, conducted by Margarita Mikhailova. Rehearsals are 5:15–7:30pm on Wednesdays at St Barnabas Church in Jericho, and include sectional coaching from professional musicians.

There are currently vacancies for brass players. All other instrumentalists are welcome to register their interest now for future playing opportunities. For more information about joining please email ouporchestra@gmail.com.
