It's with great sadness that we share in mourning of the passing of The Queen with the Royal Family and the rest of the world.
My late mother often told us the story of how she, not much younger than the 21-year-old Queen, served her tea and sandwiches on one occasion during the royal visit to South Africa in 1947. In 2020 when we cleared out my late mothers belongings, we found boxes of magazine and newspaper articles of the Royal family… I believe that was a sign of respect and fascination.
May they meet in heaven and share a cup of tea together.
