Message of condolence from Hollyanne Dudley, Kitchen, Lincoln College

Your Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Your majesty the time has come to rest,

We all know you have done your best.

A job so hard to understand but you were always there with a helping hand.

We can’t thank you enough for all you have done, your nation was proud of the queen you had become.

Your dignity, pride, sense of duty and more are what made you the queen we all adored.

Your majesty I never met you, but you meant so much to me, to everyone in this country and globally.

Your kind sense of nature and your love for animals your corgis your horses and so so many more.

The loss of you has still not sunk in, we miss your smile and compassion within.

You have done a great service to your country and all the world around, but now is the time for Charles to have your crown.

To all your family I am so sorry for you loss, there are no words for your pain, but always remember her glorious rein, the world will mourn her loss, as there was no one as pure and true. A queen a mother and grandmother too.

The heaven gates opened and Philip called you home, your majesty the time has come to lay down the throne. 70 years you reigned and we wished for many more, but now be at peace, we will love you forever more.

Love always

The Dudley Family

I hope reading this will give you peace and know how much our queen was loved.
