My sincere sympathies to the Royal family on the loss of Her Majesty.
I have only known a female monarch, and I was always proud to think that I lived under a great British Queen. My memories associated with Her Majesty will always be positive - major events such as the Olympics and Jubilee, down to the small details (when I was a Brownie, we swore to "serve my Queen and my country"). It has felt very sudden, even though this news wasn't surprising.
