Being for Beginners: workshops to improve wellbeing in life and work

Developed in workshops with DPhils and research staff at Oxford University, 'Being for Beginners' is now delivered across Oxford and at other universities. For hundreds of people, this free course has deepened their sense of wellbeing, giving them vital tools to navigate life with greater confidence and happiness.

Being for Beginners is facilitated by Roddy Bray, a storyteller and anthropologist. Using meditation and reflective practices, the course answers questions such as: how do we grow our wellbeing? How can we enjoy more and reduce anxiety and stress? How can we change and grow and become more of who we want to be?
