2022–23 pay award for non-clinical staff

With effect from 1 August 2022, staff will receive a pay increase of at least 3.0%.  Higher percentage uplifts will be made to the pay points below national spine point 20 (at the University this is staff employed on and below Grade 4 point 4). The University’s lowest scale point, which currently represents the Oxford Living Wage, will be uplifted by 5.5%, taking the annual salary to £21,150.

The pay increase will be implemented in the September payroll and backdated to 1 August 2022. Staff will also receive the one-off Thank You payment in July’s payroll. In view of the level of the national pay award, Council will be discussing options to provide further support for our staff in Michaelmas term 2022.

More information on the pay negotiations can be found on the HR website along with further information on the University’s pay structures and the wider benefits available to all staff.
