Facilitating an ideation session; Creating ideas for staff learning experiences

Example of an ideation workshop output

Creating ideas is one of the more enjoyable activities in the design process, but it is also a challenging phase; facilitating a successful ideation session and build the consensus required to move forward requires particular skills. A successful ideation occurs when participants engage in blue-sky ‘out of the box’ and then analyse and prioritise those ideas into appropriate solutions that move the project forward.

The User Experience (UX) Centre of Excellence have created a framework for conducting good ideation sessions. In this course, we use this framework to create ideas for staff learning experiences and make use of AI to assist in generating ideas.
