Online Education Strategy Group

The group comprises representatives from each university division and conference of colleges, who collaborate on shared goals and connect the group with divisional committees and objectives. 

The group meets in-person and online every six weeks.  

What does the Online Education Strategy Group do? 

  • Steers the direction of the University’s Online Education strategy, as shaped by Digital Transformation’s Case for Strategic Investment and Goal 3 of the Digital Education Strategy   

  • Monitors progress toward achieving the agreed measurable impacts  

  • Responds to escalated high risk  

  • Critiques spend and assure return on investment  

  • Advises, based on members’ experience, on the online education vision and future business models for the University   

  • Acts as advocates and champions in online education  

  • Represents the interests of College, Division, Departmental and Professional stakeholders’ needs in online education  

  • Reports to the Education Portfolio Committee and circulate decisions to Conference of Colleges.
