With the internet as one of our primary means of communication, it's important that visitors to our websites and other applications can easily find and access content of interest to them.
What is web accessibility
Web accessibility is about enabling any user to access content in a way that works best for them. Making your digital products and services accessible for everyone can improve the experience for all users, as well as ensuring that individuals with disabilities have equal access.
Free webinars
However, we know that learning about digital accessibility can be daunting when faced with an array of legal, technical and medical guidance. To help, we've put together five courses, delivered by AbilityNet, to guide you through web accessibility in 2021.
Open to all members of the university, these courses are aimed at digital content creators/managers, product owners, business analysts, project managers, designers, developers and testers.
The webinars will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams and can be accessed from anywhere. More information will be emailed to you when you book. Anyone with a keen interest in accessibility is encouraged to participate.
