FT Weekend Oxford Literary Festival: discounts, restaurant and ticket prize draws

The 2020 festival runs from Friday 27 March to Saturday 5 April at venues across the city. The exgtensive programme of talks, debates, workshops and tours also includes the Bodley Lecture – with the award of the esteemed Bodley Medal to Booker Prize-winning novelist Pat Barker on 2 April, and the Chancellor’s Lecture – an interview with Penelope Lively on 27 March.

Win a meal for two at Cinnamon Kitchen Oxford

We’ve partnered with Cinnamon Kitchen Oxford to give staff and students the chance to win a delicious meal for two.

Cinnamon Kitchen Oxford is offering one lucky winner the chance to win a delicious three course meal at Executive Chef Vivek Singh’s modern Indian restaurant, to be redeemed by 29 February 2020. 

Chef, author and restaurateur Vivek– the founder of Cinnamon Kitchen – will be putting on a number of events within Oxford Literary Festival 2020, as part of the festival’s programme of Indian literature and culture. Vivek will offer a cookery masterclass at Cinnamon Kitchen, alongside a celebratory dinner at New College. He will also be in conversation with food broadcaster Rosie Birkett about his life in food.

Terms and Conditions

  • The competition prize is inclusive of three courses from the a la carte menu each, with either a bottle of wine to share (as chosen by the restaurant) or two cocktails/soft drinks each. Water for the table and a tea/coffee each to finish is also included.

  • The prize does not include travel expenses and is non-transferable

  • The prize must be pre-booked to be redeemed, and is subject to availability
