My heartfelt condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and to all of the Royal Family on the loss of such a pioneering and resolute man in HRH the Duke of Edinburgh. As for many people he has been a leading public figure in my life since childhood. His wit and spirit will be missed not only most deeply by his family but by me and my family too.
