Message of condolence from Joseph Brown

Message of condolence from Joseph Brown, History

I would like to give my condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the royal family for the death of the Duke of Edinburgh. He has provided this country with excellent service, be it by fighting against fascism in the Second World War as an officer in the royal navy, his work towards protecting the environment here and abroad through his patronage of WWF or his creation of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, which has had a positive, transformative impact on millions of young people, myself included.  Above all he has served the queen impeccably as the longest surviving consort in the roughly 1100 year long history of the English monarchy, and the royal family in general. He will be greatly missed and will surely set good precedents for future royal consorts.
